WOW cable has to be the worst cable company in America! We have the pixelating signals on some channels, certain channels are here today, gone tomorrow with no notice, they have carried 2 different signals for the same channel so they switch back and forth between the programming offered on that channel.

I have learned not to get too interested in a program on that channel because it gets switched back and forth every several weeks. This company is CONSTANTLY raising the price of it's basic service. We are paying over $80.00 a month just for basic (we do not subscribed to ANY of the movie channels, etc.) and it's about to go up to close to $100.00 a month in yet another increase. We constantly have the signal from WOW going out and always have to call them, start to unplug our boxes and plug them back in, the whole 9 yards!

Total unreliability across the board. We will be switching to AT&T u-verse shortly, leaving one of our t.v.'s on just an indoor aerial as only 4 t.v.'s in a house can be hooked up with AT&T. Besides, most of what I watch is available on "free" t.v. thru a regular antenna, most cable shows being nothing but pure garbage and "redneck reality" shows anyhow.

Channels such as History, Discovery, A&E, Toon are all jokes as where at one time they were my "go to" channels. Trying to watch a movie on AMC, or FX, or Bravo, etc. is just an exercise in futility as there are so many commercial breaks, and they last so long, you can almost forget what program you are watching, some channels having commercial breaks every 3 to 4 minutes with close to 5 minutes straight of those inane commercials, not to mention that almost all programming on any given channel is just reruns of reruns of reruns. We're withing days now of saying goodbye to WOW for good and it can't come too soon.

We have just finished off a weekend of constant signal loss of the cable, calling customer service, unplugging and plugging back in of the boxes (a real pain in the *** with a couple of the televisions), HD channels being there one day and gone the next, you name it. And we are spending over $80.00 a month for WHAT?!

Goodbye and good riddance to WOW. Comcast is not an option either as they are the most expensive cable in the country, not to mention the largest, but that is a subject for another day.

Reason of review: Pricing issue.

Wide Open West Cons: Reliability.

This Review is garbage and completely unhelpful is this person trolling? this "review" is 2% about wow service and 98% complaints about nothing good on TV which has nothing to do with the service.

You don't explain what the issue clearly is or if you contacted them to try to solve it and how they handled it at all.

PS you think comcast and WOW are bad ya enjoy that AT&T (BY FAR THE WORST also has the most lawsuits for scamming and charging people after they have canceld services we are talking about months of charges did i mention blantantly racism and out right rude customer services) all services are *** and need to be regulated. But i think these reviews need even more regulation
